FPL should feel fun and accessible
Fantasy Premier League already asks a lot from managers. You remember deadlines, watch press conferences, debate captaincy, worry about rotation, and somehow convince yourself a 4.5m defender is about to change your life.
FPL MilkBox exists to make the end of that journey more fun. You enter your Team ID, get a recap of your season, and see your best weeks, worst weeks, rank swings, transfer behaviour, and final share card. That kind of experience works best when anyone can try it.
The same applies to the guides. Newer managers should be able to learn what a Team ID is, how overall rank works, when hits make sense, and how to review a season without being asked for a subscription first.
The tool will not be paywalled
We do not plan to put the FPL MilkBox recap tool behind a paywall. The core idea is simple: your season, freshly delivered. If the public FPL data is available and the site is working, the tool should be available to use.
We also do not plan to paywall the beginner-friendly FPL guides. Content about finding your Team ID, understanding rank, managing hits, and improving your mini-league should stay open.
That does not mean the site has no costs. Hosting, domains, maintenance, design work, testing, and keeping up with public FPL API changes all take time and money. But the answer to that should not be locking the main experience away from the people it was made for.
How FPL MilkBox may cover costs
To help cover upkeep, FPL MilkBox may use some advertising from time to time. If ads are added, the aim is to keep them lightweight, clearly separate from content, and respectful of the experience.
That means no fake download buttons, no misleading calls to action, no popups blocking the recap, and no language asking users to click ads. Ads should never be part of the game mechanic, the recap, or the guide content.
If advertising is added, the Privacy Policy will be kept updated with the relevant disclosures. The goal would be simple: help pay for the site while keeping the tool and content free.
What free does not mean
Free does not mean careless. FPL MilkBox still needs to be useful, readable, and trustworthy. That is why the site includes clear navigation, an About page, Contact page, Privacy Policy, Terms, and a Disclaimer.
Free also does not mean fake insight. The recap uses public FPL data where available and avoids made-up analytics, luck scores, or invented claims. The humour sits on top of real season information.
If public FPL data changes or becomes unavailable, the tool may not work for every season. In that case, FPL MilkBox should explain the issue rather than pretending to know something it does not.
Why this matters for the FPL community
FPL is social. People play in mini-leagues, share screenshots, argue about captaincy, and remember ridiculous moments long after the points are locked. A recap tool should add to that culture rather than make it feel transactional.
Keeping FPL MilkBox free means more managers can use it at the end of the season, whether they finished top 10k or accidentally became a Chaos Merchant with a transfer history that needs supervision.
If the site grows, the challenge is to keep that spirit intact: useful guides, a polished recap, transparent policies, and a tool that remains open to the FPL managers it was built for.
